Following the training, the team will enjoy a greater sense of connection and joint purpose, resulting in better customer service, more productivity and higher revenues.
This stimulating and motivational film and set of exercises can energize and inspire your team to have more fun, increase accountability, choose a positive attitude and become more service-oriented.
This training is designed for individuals being groomed for a team management role or for managers with less than five years experience leading teams. In this training, individuals discuss and plan the transition into their new roles, explore their primary job duties, learn best practices, and identify opportunities for growth and development. Participants examine their communication styles as they relate to employee management, and they learn to understand the needs and communication styles of other team members. Following training, these managers will be well prepared for a successful transition into positions of greater responsibility.
This training utilizes Tuckman’s Stages of Team Development to assist managers in reviewing their current team functioning. Managers create an action plan to eliminate barriers to their teams’ productivity and success. Participants learn to give formative feedback in a motivating way, to incorporate effective strategies for managing up, to lead successful meetings and master other fundamental leadership skills. The training focuses on continual development and the immediate application and utilization of concepts learned.
Leverage The Learning: Add an action plan and coaching component to maximize your investment in any leadership and professional development training. This added feature allows participants to debrief and immediately apply what they have learned at the end of a program. Participants develop plans and begin taking action, while follow up coaching deepens learning through ongoing support, problem solving, and the review of wins and challenges. Follow-on coaching therefore facilitates sustainable behavioral changes and leads to increased accountability and productivity.
We are experiencing four very diverse generations working side by side in the workplace. The aging US population stays in the workforce for longer periods while the demand for skilled, younger talent increases. These changes result in employees with diverse experience and attitudes being thrown together in abrupt ways. This training provides the tools to help organizations understand the issues arising from this generational mix: respect for authority, diverse work ethics, integrating younger, informally trained workers into the more traditional workplace, flexible work arrangements, and training older workers to accept and adapt to the changing work landscape. Participants will learn to recognize and proactively respond to the diverse beliefs, values and attitudes of the four generations in the workplace, and learn how to “flex” their communication and interactions to create more collaboration and community.
This training is designed for middle to senior level managers and leaders. Participants engage in facilitated discussions for 3-4 hours on a specific leadership topic. The training focuses on overcoming obstacles and identifying and adopting best practices.

Individuals examine their own communications styles using the Personal Coaching Styles Inventory (PCSI), allowing them to leverage and adapt their styles to communicate more effectively with clients, supervisors and colleagues. Participants focus on enhancing their communication and management skills through enhanced coaching and listening skills, and specific techniques to effectively deliver motivating formative feedback.
This workshop is designed to develop emotionally intelligent management and communication skills, to assist underachieving employees in leveraging their strengths, and/or to assist key talent in maximizing their skills. If desired, the workshop can include information and strategies for mixing and managing four generations in the workplace.
Work Smarter, Not Harder! Individuals examine their Work/Life balance, evaluate energy drains and develop action plans to eliminate non-productive behaviors. Participants focus on developing more efficient time management skills, evaluating key stresses, and creating a Work/Life balance vision and action plan. Following this training, participants will enjoy increased productivity and energy while incorporating new best practices. Participants learn to manage their work flow and eliminate inefficient behaviors so they are more productive and experience greater personal and professional satisfaction that leads to longer employee retention and increased effectiveness.
The Manager as Coach/Benefits of Coaching in the Workplace: Participants will review prior course material on communication styles and management techniques as they relate to coaching. Participants will learn several techniques for guiding themselves and direct reports toward more effective problem-solving and results-oriented conversations. Using coaching techniques such as setting the coaching foundation, establishing trust, using active listening and creating a positive coaching presence, participants will learn to utilize the coaching approach to support and manage individuals and teams. Participants will also utilize insightful questioning and skillful direct communication to help direct reports and colleagues design their own answers and action steps for more buy-in. In order to facilitate action learning and results, participants will also learn how to design actions, manage planning and goal setting (using SMART goals) and manage the coaching process and increase direct reports’ accountability and productivity.
